03— Models & specifications
How does the Lotus Eletre differ from the Eletre X?
The Lotus Eletre is fully electric, while the Lotus Eletre X is an extended-range hybrid (EREV).
| Parameter | Eletre | Eletre X |
|---|---|---|
| Powertrain | 100% electric (BEV) | EREV hybrid |
| Power | 603 / 905 HP | 550 / 952 HP |
| 0–100 km/h | 4,5 / 2,95 s | 4,9 / 3,3 s |
| Range | up to 600 km | 1238 km (combined) |
| Price from (gross) | ~430 000 zł | ~422 000 zł |
| Delivery time | 5–6 months | 3–4 months |
In the Eletre X, the combustion engine does not drive the wheels directly — it works as a generator charging the battery. The driving character remains electric, but the range limitation on long journeys disappears.
The Eletre remains the choice for customers who value zero emissions and a more favourable depreciation limit for business accounting.
What is the range of the Lotus Eletre?
The Lotus Eletre has a range of up to 600 km on a single charge, and the Lotus Emeya up to 610 km. The hybrid Lotus Eletre X achieves a combined range of 1238 km thanks to its extended-range powertrain (EREV).
What are the technical specifications of the Lotus Emira?
The Lotus Emira is available in Poland with two engines: the 2.0 i4 Turbo and the 3.5 V6 Supercharged, both producing 400 HP.
| Parameter | Emira Turbo | Emira V6 |
|---|---|---|
| Engine | 2.0 i4 Turbo | 3.5 V6 Supercharged |
| Power | 400 HP | 400 HP |
| 0–100 km/h | 4,4 s | 4,3 s |
| Drive | rear-wheel drive | rear-wheel drive |

| Price from (gross) | ~496 000 zł | ~600 000 zł |

05— Warranty & financing
How many years of warranty does Lotus have?
The Lotus warranty depends on the model. Electric models (Eletre, Emeya) are covered by a 5-year warranty, while the combustion-engined Emira has a 3-year warranty with no mileage limit.
| Scope | Eletre | Emeya | Emira |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic warranty | 5 years / 150 000 km | 5 years / 150 000 km | 3 years, unlimited km |
| Paint | 5 years, unlimited km | 5 years, unlimited km | 3 years, unlimited km |
| Battery & electric drivetrain | 8 years / 200 000 km | 8 years / 200 000 km | — |
| Battery capacity warranty | min. 70% SoH | min. 70% SoH | — |
| Anti-corrosion (body/frame) | 12 years | 12 years | 8 years |
In electric models, Lotus guarantees that the battery will retain at least 70% of its initial capacity for 8 years or 200 000 km. The warranty covers all components not subject to natural wear and is honoured free of charge at an authorised service centre.
In Poland, the warranty is honoured by authorised Lotus Poland service (from October 2026).
What does leasing a Lotus in Poland look like?
A Lotus in Poland can be financed through leasing. Lotus Poland works with several financial institutions, so the customer receives a comparison of offers rather than a single imposed proposal.
Available forms of financing:
- Operating lease — instalments count as tax-deductible costs within the tax limit. The most common choice for business customers.
- Finance lease — the vehicle is entered into the lessee's fixed-asset register.
- Financing in PLN and EUR — we present both calculations side by side.
Lotus Poland will prepare a comparative calculation: kontakt@lotuspoland.com.
Is Lotus leasing available in euros?
Yes. Lotus Poland offers financing in both PLN and EUR. Because Lotus cars are settled in euros, EUR financing can be cheaper in the cost of money than its złoty equivalent.
The key difference for the customer: with a EUR instalment, the customer bears the currency risk. This solution is natural for companies with revenue in euros. A customer with income solely in złoty usually chooses a predictable PLN instalment, even at the cost of a higher nominal rate.
Lotus Poland presents both calculations side by side, so the difference is visible in figures before any decision.
How does Lotus perform in terms of residual value?
Lotus is a niche brand. Production volumes are incomparably lower than those of volume premium brands, and models such as the Emira and Evija are closer in character to collector's cars than to series-production cars — the Emira is the last Lotus with a combustion engine, and the Evija is built in a series of 130 units.
Limited supply and the brand's luxury — rather than volume — character are factors that the market usually takes into account when pricing used cars.
Specific buyout values in leasing are set individually by the financing institutions at the calculation stage. Lotus Poland will prepare a comparison: kontakt@lotuspoland.com.
06— About the brand
What is the history of the Lotus brand?
Lotus is a British sports car brand founded in 1948 by Colin Chapman, with its headquarters and factory in Hethel, Norfolk, England.
The brand's philosophy is captured in a single sentence from Chapman: „Simplify, then add lightness”. Rather than adding power, Lotus subtracted mass. This principle has defined every car the brand has made for over seventy years.
Formula 1. Team Lotus won 7 constructors' championships and introduced innovations to Formula 1 that changed the sport: the monocoque (Lotus 25, 1962) and ground effect (Lotus 78/79, 1977–78). Track experience was transferred directly to road cars.
Road cars. Successive generations — Seven, Elan, Esprit, Elise, Exige, Evora — built the brand's reputation on handling rather than on paper figures.
Lotus Engineering. Lotus's engineering consultancy division has for decades worked on chassis and driving dynamics for the world's largest manufacturers. It is a rare situation in which competitors draw on the expertise of the very brand they seek to beat.
Today. Since 2017, the majority shareholder of Lotus has been the Geely group — owner of Volvo and Polestar, among others. The investment has enabled the widest model range in the brand's history: the Emira (the last Lotus with a combustion engine), the fully electric Eletre and Emeya, the hybrid Eletre X, the Evija hypercar and the Type 135, announced for 2028. Design, engineering development and the calibration of chassis and handling remain in Hethel.
Lotus or another premium brand car — which to choose?
The choice depends on what you are looking for.
Lotus is chosen by customers for whom the following matter:
- Handling as a priority. Chassis calibration takes place in Hethel, the same place where Formula 1 cars were built. It is the starting point of every project, not an add-on.
- Exclusivity. Lotus is a niche brand — there are tens of times fewer Lotus cars on Polish roads than cars from volume premium brands. The car is recognisable but not commonplace.
- Performance relative to price. The range starts from approx. 422 000 zł gross (Eletre X 550, 550 HP).
- Battery warranty — 8 years / 200 000 km with a guaranteed minimum of 70% capacity.
The best way to choose is a test drive. Lotus Poland arranges test drives at its showroom in Warsaw: kontakt@lotuspoland.com.
